The Oaks of Louisiana is a 310 acre development created when Live Oak Retirement community merged with Willis-Knighton Health System. Willis-Knighton had purchased the adjacent Sawyer Farm in southeast Shreveport to develop an active adult community as part of its mission to the senior population. The merging of Live Oak with Willis-Knighton has resulted in The Oaks of Louisiana, offering a variety of senior living and care options. The beautiful wooded campus offers a country setting just minutes from shopping, restaurants, banks and healthcare.
