The Rev. Andrew Comeaux

Overseeing the spiritual well-being of residents at The Oaks of Louisiana and serving as one of its chaplains is The Rev. Andrew Comeaux, Director of Spiritual Life Services.

A priest for 36 years, Comeaux comes to The Oaks from St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral where he was the Canon in charge of pastoral care. A native of Plaquemine, La., Comeaux is a graduate of Saint Joseph Seminary College in St. Benedict, La. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans. He also has a Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University.

In addition to his leadership role at The Oaks of Louisiana, Comeaux leads the Willis-Knighton Health System spiritual life services program.

"The Oaks of Louisiana is a place where we can look in every direction and see all the goodness with which God has surrounded us," states Comeaux. "Especially from the Chapel at The Oaks, we can view the beauty of God’s creation and never forget how blessed we are."
