MarketPlace at The Oaks Hosts Spring Open House Event

Residents and their families as well as employees are invited to visit the MarketPlace at The Oaks for the shop’s Spring Open House on May 8, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. According to Catherine Romero, manager of the MarketPlace, the shop has some beautiful items that will please the most demanding shoppers. During the Open House, Romero will offer samples of some of the shop’s gourmet products from New Canaan Farms.

The shop offers fleur de lis jewelry as well as colorful scarves. A sunflower umbrella helps to make a gray day bright. Skin and bath products are proving very popular as Mother’s Day Gifts.

Shoppers can also purchase cookies, muffins and casseroles from The Oaks kitchen, all individually packaged. The signature Oatmeal Jumble cookie is a MarketPlace favorite and can be included in custom-designed gift baskets.
